Tinfoil hat time - sports multi?

I'm totally ready to be proven wrong here. But if I recall correctly, wasn't there a big rumor of a sports multi going around? Or that it was going to be the Qixi banner, that it would be sports themed and that each LI would have had a sport? I saw a comment on XHS that said that this current basketball card would have been Caleb's card in the sports multi, and that they just basically broke it off and shoved it in as a solo. IDK why but this stuck with me, knowing that infold likely didn't have everything ready for the Caleb solo, so they just broke off this card like a piece of candy and are offering it to us. I assume if we see other sports cards and never see a sports multi we can assume this is true. This also feels correct to me since we don't have any other sport specific memories or outfits for the other LI's? What do y'all think?
