Can I have the same license active on 2 machines simultaneously?

I have a Windows workstation and a Linux laptop, I noticed that my workstation 'lost' its licence when I registered Linux within the app. I got the license for free because I am a student. It doesn't really matter, my Windows now displays 'start free trial' in the corner so unless it restricts me in the future it shouldn't be a problem.
