Question regarding political label (In the US)

I'm seeing quite bit confused on this. Every moderate profile review gets a comment stating moderate mean conservative therefore people are swiping left. I would consider myself a liberal (not American but that is were my political alignment is) but not a socialist or a tankie, If I label myself a liberal am I considered a leftist? I was also swiping right on many moderates lol, so I'm so confused on this.
