What do you think is the most likely ending for Tom Holland's Spider-Man?
The following does not include spoilers for Brand New Day:
Tom Holland has indicated he doesn't want to play the character forever. It's not unlikely his next batch of films will take ~a decade in real time and leave him roughly the same age as 616-Peter (~28). With that in mind (and assuming the universe doesn't fail/get rebooted before that), how do you think 19999-Peter's story will end?
Potential options:
- Getting 616-B'd: Like Peter B. Parker, he gets his happy ending but still does Spider-Man stuff.
- Getting 982'd: Peter is injured, disabled, or otherwise debilitated enough that he retires as Spider-Man. But gets a happy ending with his wife and family as Peter.
- Getting 1610'd: Peter dies saving people, and is succeeded by Miles Morales.
- Playing the character forever: 'till he's 90.
I think they'll most likely do a combination of 1 and 2. Peter sacrifices himself and narrowly survives, and is injured enough that he finally retires. But is replaced by a version of Miles he is still alive to mentor.
