Wash hair before glossing treatment?

Hii! I have an appointment for a glossing treatment and a haircut at the salon tomorrow morning. My hair is a bit greasy, so I was thinking about washing it first tonight, but would that be a bad idea? Is it better not to wash it, like with a balayage or other color treatments, or does it not really matter for a gloss?
