Why did Ralsei and Susie not grow closer in chapter 5.

In chapter 5, Susie makes the choice to sleep in the darkworld after the last prophecy and Toriel’s scene stresses her out. We then go to the darkworld to see Ralsei is talking about how Susie is preparing for her date with Noelle. It is implied that Ralsei seemed to initiate this change of focus which would’ve required some effort considering how out of it Susie was. Despite that Ralsei does not comment at all about Susie’s stay. No “It has been a pleasure hosting you Susie anytime ”, or “I’m really worried about you sleeping here you know this isn’t real right” or any comment in between. Not even an “I helped you with your school project” which he was he clearly obsessed with in chapter 2. (why hasn’t he brought that up again it would’ve a really cool running gag for Ralsei to have.) There is know deeper understanding between them either which I feel there should be after they both hung out at a point where there were most vulnerable, Susie’s decorating of Ralsei’s room shows she is unaware of any of his interests despite Ralsei implied spending the night developing them, Vice versa Ralsei never reassures Susie that of course Noelle would like her when she is nervous, despite it looking like they talked instead he is just like “man I wish I could help her” and the lancer shows up and we engage in the most useless help invented. No, comment on Susie’s family situation even though that is something Ralsei should’ve asked about first thing and given Susie’s emotional intelligence she I don’t think would’ve brushed over. No secret handshakes, no inside joke, no new skill that Ralsei learned from Susie or maybe Ralsei taught Susie for a change, nothing. In fact despite spending the night in the darkworld Susie hasn’t grown closer with any darkner not even Lancer. (Maybe queen as she now considers Susie an unofficial daughter which feels like a new development). Am I seriously supposed to believe that Susie entered the darkworld said “hi Ralsei” nobody commented on her entry or Susie ignored them, immediately face planted on Kris’s bed after noticing hers had spikes and then woke up and yells “hey darkners you know the prophecy forget about that, I just dreampt about Noelle and I think I want to go on a date with her” and the darkners then all go about helping in their charmingly wrong ways. Chapter 6s castle town better make up for this tenfold. They made Noelle’s room together, Ralsei made Susie a cake that has to impact their relationship. On a related note I also want to actually give Susie the vague posting award in this chapter for saying I think 3 times in different ways to Ralsei “Hey, Ralsei, I’ve been thinking… never mind”.
