Daily Framing Watch: Fox covered the Bondi-Epstein hearing. Most of the right didn't.

How the left framed it
The Hill and NPR led with the procedural fight — The Hill noted the DOJ had argued Bondi should not appear, making Friday's session a win for the committee. NPR named her April ouster as attorney general and framed the session around the administration's "handling of the Epstein files." The Guardian called it a "fresh chance to dig for information."
How the right framed it
Fox News covered the hearing and added a detail the others underplayed — framing it as Bondi's "first Capitol Hill return since DOJ ouster," putting her removal from office front and center rather than treating her as a neutral witness. No other right-leaning outlet in the set ran the story.
The gap
Conservative outlets spent years treating Epstein as a story about Democratic proximity. The former AG who controlled the federal Epstein files is now being questioned under oath, and Fox is the only right-leaning outlet covering it. Three of four outlets also skipped a meaningful procedural detail: the DOJ tried to block Bondi's appearance.
