I despise people who say Benjamin is stupid

After the latest chapter I have seen a lot of people saying all different kinds of things about how Benjamin fucked up when killing Tserriednich. People are like, he should have known something was going on with Tserri's zetsu etc.

I think this is an incredibly stupid line of thought. Well first of all if Benjamin dotted his i's and crossed his t's. There would be no more story with Tserriednich. As soon as we learned this interaction already happened, it was obvious this would be the way it would play out. And it makes perfect sense as well.

Benjamin as much as he says he doesn't fear death, also very clearly isn't in the best state of mind (lacking Balsamilco doesn't help) and he even literally says: "I don't have time waste on scum like you." In a normal situation Ben would probably take his time and torture Tserriednich, but this is not a normal situation. He is literally dying extremely fucking quickly from 2 different sources and still has to do thousand things before he does. To him Tserriednich is an afterthought. And even if he noticed the zetsu, how is he supposed to guess Tserriednich is the literal most prodigal nen novice we have seen in the story so far. For all he knows Tserriednich has just learned the most basic principle of nen like a minute ago.
