I need help with my hardware!!!

My husband and I just bought a house, we’re on a pretty tight budget but we’re trying to get everything remodeled and repainted before moving in. I’ve restained all of the cabinets in the kitchen using a Java, General finishes stain it’s very dark, and I want to get hardware in my house that gains patina and ages well over time. I’m not sure what Is best for our situation, I’ve been looking for unlacquered brass hardware for the cabinets. Hopefully one day can find a cheaper sink that will fit in our kitchen. But is unlacquered brass my best option? Where can I find this affordably?
