Trouble shooting affiliates (Denmark)

So I started my application a while ago, but have been struggling to get my letter of affiliation for this upcoming by cycle. Professors have replied to me and said they would have offered me a letter, but the initial masters programs I’m applying for were basically axed by the Danish Gov during the 2027 academic year for reforms. I was also only informed of this just last week.

I’m not sure what to do. I can’t really defer the application for personal reasons, and can’t justify going only for a year as a non-degree seeking student to Denmark (or even as a degree seeking one). I feel like it’s too late to pivot to a research grant since I never thought of my application like that and don’t have enough research history in my field (my current university didn’t offer the major I wanted, which is why I am trying to do this masters). Is it too late? I’ve still been cold emailing other Masters I’m interested in within the same university but I’m feeling the dread. Any advice please?
