i7 8700K 100°C

Afternoon,

I've had my PC since January 2018 and have never replaced the thermal paste. I haven't given the PC a proper clean, dust-wise, since last year, but I've had no issues with performance up until this summer, which has been very dry and hot. I've recently also started playing MSFS 2024, which is fairly CPU-intensive. Recently, the PC has been lagging, and when doing a Malwarebytes scan, I decided to boot iCUE, which suggests the problem of why.

Any help would be appreciated. I have some paste that I can apply for a new round, but is this a further issue, maybe?
