Advice about swimwear for first time in Sharm El Sheikh

I’m visiting one of the resorts in Sharm El Sheikh with my girlfriend in August/September time and was wondering whether my girlfriend will be able to wear a thong bikini? Will she get any funny looks or be asked to change? Any advice would be appreciated, thank you :)
