Late enrollment and waiting for BAH

Hey folks, hope my question makes enough sense (because of my criminal naivety) for y’all to be able to help me out. Alright here I go…

I recently lost my job (and source of income), and had to pivot to going back to school. This a “net-good thing” because it’s forcing me to “level” up in my field. So, chronologically, going thru the applying/ acceptance/ and enrollment process brought me pretty much to the end of last month. The Va email I most recently received pretty much says “we’ll get to it when we get to it. Call your certifying official with any questions.”

My question is if any of you fine warfighters have any knowledge of timelines? I am kind of depending on this bah payment to be able to, well, live (pay rent, eat, travel etc). And if this is processed in the next few days; will payment roll into the next pay cycle? Or will it come thru as normal?
