What parts of web development do you think AI will NEVER replace?
every week I see someone saying, "AI is going to replace web developers."
maybe...but the more I use AI, the more I think it's replacing tasks, not developers.
AI can write code, generate components, fix bugs, and even build a decent landing page in minutes.
But can it...??
to me, those are the parts that create the most value—and they're also the hardest to automate.
i think AI will become the best development assistant we've ever had, but I don't think it'll replace the people who can solve business problems, communicate effectively, and make smart engineering decisions.
That said, I could be wrong., if you had to pick ONE part of web development that AI will never replace, what would it be—and why?
I'm genuinely curious to hear different perspectives. I have a feeling there will be some strong disagreements.
