tips on getting silver ring splints covered by insurance?

General

Hi ya'll, I'm at a loss and figured I would reach out here to ask for some help. I was diagnosed with hEDS recently, with one of my primary symptoms being chronic hand/wrist pain due to hypermobility in my DIP/PIP joints of fingers and my wrists. I have a prescription for silver ring splints from my rheum, have been fitted for them by my OT, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it covered by insurance or WHERE to order them from!

I live in the Northeast United States (MA/RI/CT area) and have called several DME suppliers and orthotic/orthopedic places and none of them have them. I found one place online (Northcoast Medical) that said they don't bill insurance... I'm currently trying to get prior authorization from my health insurance to order through them but we'll see.

Does anyone know of any DME suppliers where I can order silver ring splints, either online or local to MA/RI/CT in north america? Or anyone in North America who wouldn't mind chatting with me about what the process of getting these covered by insurance was? Thank you so much!
