There's a sparrow in my dryer hose. Can I remove it myself?

It's chirping like crazy and I'm 99% sure it's inside the actual hose. My worry is that if I remove the hose, the bird will enter my house and be impossible to catch. Is there any way I can pull this off myself?

It's a regular stacked W/D unit. Front load. Don't have access to the outside portion of the vent, it's too high up.
