Studio recent issue with stutter after waking from sleep

For the past month or so, I've been having this issue where when I wake my studio from sleep, the system is very laggy and stutters. Activity Monitor and Stats both show that the system is not under load. The issue was fixed for a day or two after updating but went right back to it shortly after. The short term fix is to either restart or force quit Window Server. But I'm getting tired of having to do this every single time, multiple times a day.

Here is a screen recording of me wiggling the mouse around to show how bad it is:

If anyone has any idea how to fix this I would love to hear it 😭
