My last day of work at 39 weeks

I just called and submitted my maternity leave claim, my first official day of leave is Thursday but I have tomorrow and Wednesday off for appointments.

I’ve been non stop at this job for almost 5 years and even if it’s temporary I’m really sad to go. I even cried a little after my phone call about it! My co-workers have been so great to me and all still say “how are you still working???” for weeks now. I can finally say it’s my last day!

Baby will be here so soon and I’m so excited to have some time home to finish prepping and nesting and getting some rest before those sleepless nights.
