Late college start, help??

So, i got admission by other means, donation management quota and all, so they say we have to go to college late, like normal classes start from 5th and our start later cause they have to arrange students in class and all so i was thinking like what if i go after orientation?? How would i make friends?? Cause groups are made in orientation and what if i go late in orientation and ofc late in classes too, what to do?? How to make friends then cause you can't go and grt involve in already existing friend group??...
