How to accept your fall from grace/ loss of innocence/ taintedness ?

I find it so difficult to accept my warts and my loss of innocence. I was such an innocent child and I was so vulnerable. Im now a man who has committed many sins and Im trying to reconcile with that. I know it’s a really important part of my individuation. Is there anything that made it bearable or maybe even preferable ?
