[Question] Bow from "stock" ash

Hey everyone

A friend of mine bought some ash planks and said that he will have a lot of cuts left that he cant use that are more then 1.5-2m long.

Soooo imma get them - I thought.

Now I was wondering if I can make a bow out of these planks or what I would need to look out for.

I have made two bows so far, both from fresh cut down trees and never from bought lumber planks.
