So what does a kindergartners first day of school outfit look like?

I’m not trying to be the extra mom that goes crazy. My kid is happiest when she’s comfortable, but I heard moms school shopping yesterday talking about their first day outfit for their kids for kindergarten…. Did I miss something? I went to a private school and had uniforms my whole school existence. I want my kid to fit in and be happy so I want to know the trend if that’s the case but… they’re kindergarteners right? Like I’m anticipating her crying the whole day so the outfit doesn’t really matter right?

I guess I’ve just spent the last week stressing myself out because my oldest isn’t a baby anymore and it’s hitting me really really hard.
