Purple Exotics (Help)

I’ve been searching for a couple days I’ve watched a lot of YouTube vids and read a lot of Reddit posts. Early early game exotics, to get yourself set up to run better missions.

What I’m aware of so far:

Spelunking mission: hoping to get a deep exotic vein and calling down extractor and battery mine send it up and do it again. This wasn’t too bad but at 50 ren per battery it costs 20 exotic per run if you use two extractors. While I normally only get 80-120 exotic per run(that actually has a deep vein) with it taking 10-20 min. With the cost 60-100 per run is about rough when workshop items are pretty expensive.

Deep vein mission: this one is straight forward usually 120 ish exotics per run still about 20min per. (You have to run so far lol). Not super early game since you need cold weather gear (I think?)

I guess my question is: Are these exotic amounts for the time invested just the way it is early game until you can get better gear and farm some higher level missions, or am I missing something?
