Made the Switch - No Regrets! Finally, an MVNO that actually works as intended.

We recently switched from AT&T over to US Mobile to cut down on our bill. It's always a bit anxiety inducing changing services without knowing if the service will meet your expectations...

To those who are on the fence, I recommend giving USM a shot. Not only was the switch/activation far easier than any other MVNO I've tried, but the service on Dark Star (AT&T) has been exceptional.

For context, we have the $39 Unlimited Premium plan on Dark Star. The quality matches what we experienced on AT&T, to our surprise.

It's also neat to be able to add a backup plan with the other two networks, just in case, although we haven't needed to do so, which is great.

The only problem we had along the way was one day where my texts were going through to my spouse but his not to me. However, I think that was more an RCS and iMessage issue than it was USM. Corrected itself pretty quickly.

It's also a nice feature to be able to setup autopay for one line on one card and autopay for another line on an alternative card. You can split the bill or get points on multiple cards, etc.

Additional context - we're using a Galaxy S26 Ultra and an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
