2nd miscarriage in 6 months

I had a scan at 9 weeks and 5 days but embryo was measuring 6 and 5 with no confirmed heartbeat. I lost my last pregnancy 6 months ago to the day at 12 and 1. I now have to go through my due date while miscarrying.

They want me to come back in a week to confirm even though we all know what's happening so I just have to sit here and wait.

They won't refer me to a recurrent miscarriage clinic until I have had a third miscarriage which just seems spectacularly cruel. I tried telling them I have had a chemical pregnancy in the past (I haven't) but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Is there anyone UK based who can advise on how to get anything investigated? I am 35 so I hoped that they might be able to do further tests
