Likelihood of FJO after fingerprints? (DHA, Low Risk position)
I’m hoping for some insight into the hiring process.
I accepted a TJO for a civilian position under DHA.
So far I’ve:
- Completed my interview & references
- Received a TJO
- Negotiated and got approval for a higher step
- Accepted the TJO
- Completed fingerprints
I’m now waiting for the background investigation to start. The position is non-sensitive.
My main question is:
Assuming there are no background (or funding) issues, do most people who reach this stage ultimately get a FJO?
I know nothing is guaranteed until I’m actually sitting at that desk but I’d love some feedback from people who’ve been through it. Is it okay to have a tiny mental celebration at this point?
My HR contact has been great, but I’d rather ask the people of the internet than bother them with questions
