Hi everyone,

Most explorers jump straight to drilling - and most of them drill dry holes. NRED is taking the slower, smarter path.

NRED's latest news caught my attention because it builds directly on what the company has already been showing investors instead of introducing an entirely new angle.

The company identified two historical iron carbonate-silica alteration zones covering a combined 613 acres on the Plume Grid. What makes that interesting is their location. Both sit above the large magnetic anomaly that NRED recently interpreted as a possible buried intrusive complex. The next step is an IP/AMT survey that can image to roughly 3,300 feet below the surface before drill targets are finalized.

Looking back over the past few releases, the exploration plan has followed a logical sequence.

First, the company expanded the Wilmac property to nearly 39,700 acres. Then it explained the regional geology and why the additional ground could matter. Now it has highlighted surface alteration that lines up with the same geological model. Each update adds another piece of information that helps refine where future drilling should take place.

I also like that management isn't rushing to make big claims. The release discusses several possible geological interpretations. The alteration could represent the upper part of a porphyry system, an epithermal system, or something entirely different. Rather than guessing, they're collecting more geophysical data before committing to drill locations.

That approach makes sense to me. Drilling is expensive, and every additional dataset helps improve the odds of testing the most promising targets instead of relying on assumptions.

Exploration is still exploration, and there's no guarantee these targets become a discovery. But each press release has made the geological picture more complete. From a shareholder's perspective, I'd rather see that steady progression than a series of disconnected updates with very little context. That's why today's announcement stood out to me.

No discovery yet - but the picture keeps getting clearer. And that's exactly what I want to see at this stage.
