Looking for advice on flying MSFS 2024 in VR — X56 HOTAS + C172

Flying MSFS 2024 in VR and trying to figure out the best control setup. I use an X56 HOTAS and fly the C172. How do you all manage switches, knobs, and general cockpit interaction in VR?

Looking for ideas.
