Should the "live ping" feature go?

I'm referring to the feature where you can mark an enemy, and that marker follows them for a few seconds. I'm also not referring to the ads auto ping you get from the tracker perk.

I think whilst this was a cool idea, it's being abused so much now. I get that it's possible to bind it to a paddle or LB and get good with it, but there are many players where it seems like such an obvious script. every time you interact with them, you're affected by live ping. every time you watch their final killcam, you can hear the voiceline of them pinging effortlessly whilst playing. if you trade damage or are even spotted, and get behind cover ready to swing and rechall, you're either being wallbanged or perfectly preaimed because you're affected by live ping. heck, it doesn't even have to be a script per se. With my gamesir g7 pro, I could easily map my ping to the left shoulder button, and put my finger in such a position so that every time i aim in with LT, i'll also live ping. Whilst not cheating anymore, the effect is the exact same, extreme cheese that's hard to replicate on an ordinary controller.

I hope live pings are removed in MW4. What do you all think?
