Help with auto point names in Trimble Access

I have three rovers staking out points using R10’s and Trimble Access. I think they are all different versions but the one I am looking at now is 2017.24.

Each rover has a a list of hundreds of points to stake out. At the end of each day I export the stakeout points from that day to a csv and include it in the daily report to our client.

I currently have the point name set to auto point name and the code set to design name. When I start the day for example I name the first point 8-03-001. The software automatically increments the point name by 1 and at the end of the day it is super easy to select by name range and export the points from that day.

My problem occurs when the crews forget to set the name of the first point each day. Almost daily at least one person forgets.

Is there anyway to make the point name automatically include the date or some other way to just export points surveyed that day?
