[Hiring] 41 tech jobs across India, a company tagged 7 jobs remote whose own titles say Hybrid in Bangalore, every link verified today (3 August)

We check every apply link before posting, so nothing here is expired or scraped. Roles are grouped by the experience the job description actually asks for, read out of each posting by hand, and every company name below links to its own page with the full requirements.

Today's warning is about remote tags, and this time the employer contradicts itself. Smartsheet has seven open India roles and every one carries a #LI-Remote tag. Two of those same postings say "Hybrid in Bangalore" in the job title, and the bodies say the role is "based in Smartsheet's corporate offices in Bengaluru". One posting, three different answers, and the layer job sites read is the wrong one.

That makes five consecutive days we have found a false remote tag. Harvey flagged all its India roles remote again while the bodies say Bengaluru. OpenAI flagged remote again while its body says three office days a week. Thoughtworks carries a remote tag while its own board data says "Remote Eligible: False" and the posting says five days in an office. The honest result: 1 of today's 41 is genuinely remote, verified by reading the body.

One more finding, and it is a new kind. Fivetran publishes a hiring priority field on its job board, and two of its roles are marked "Future Open" and "Internal Resources". Both apply links return a perfectly normal page. The roles are simply not open to external applicants. We dropped both and published the one with no flag.

A few notes so nobody wastes an application:

1. Nothing today asks for under 2 years, and we would rather say that than stretch a definition. Two roles sit on the 2 year floor: Meesho's Forward Deployed Engineer II and Paytm's Senior SDET. That floor was 3 years yesterday, and it came down because we added Indian product companies to our sources rather than more US enterprise boards. If you are early career, use the experience filter on the board and set it to 0 to 1 yr, because roles from earlier editions are still open.
2. The one genuinely remote role is Hightouch's Technical Account Manager, and it answers two things readers have asked us for. It is the exact job title one reader requested by name, and it is India remote with no office clause anywhere in the posting. It is their first TAM hire in India covering Asia Pacific and Japan, 5+ years, wanting SQL, APIs and databases rather than pure account management. One oddity: the posting carries a US E-Verify notice inherited from their American listings, so clarify work authorisation early.
3. Okta is advertising one job twice at two different levels. Its "Principal Software Engineer, Backend" and "Staff Software Engineer, Backend" share a 99.7 percent identical description: same team, same 7 years, same Java and Spring requirements. We published the Staff one and say so on the page.
4. Two office and shift details worth catching. Thoughtworks states you may be expected in a Thoughtworks or client office all five working days. JFrog's Technical Success Manager is an EMEA role based in Bangalore with three mandatory office days, and JFrog's North America equivalent runs 5:30pm to 2:30am IST.
5. Celigo requires its 8 years to come from product based companies only, stated in the requirements. A real filter if your background is services or consulting.
6. Everpure is Pure Storage, newly rebranded, the enterprise flash storage company, with Portworx as its Kubernetes storage product. Four of today's roles are theirs across four teams, from 4 years to 18, and it is candid that the work is in-office in Bangalore.
7. Titles told us nothing again. Everpure uses "Member of Technical Staff" for both a 4 year job and an 18 year job. Okta uses Senior at 3 years and Staff at 7. Meesho calls a 6 year role Principal Data Scientist. This is why we read the years out of the body every day.
