Got my first "Don't report the food is not ready" lecture

In all fairness the lady was nice about it. She mentioned it reduces their rating. Does anyone know whether that has an actual practical effect on them?

Purely out of curiosity, probably not going back to the place because it's like 6 orders a week for me and I'm always waiting.
