**“You seriously expect me to go back? I’m sorry dude but I’ve tasted this life and I can’t go back now.” Harry said with my girlfriend’s voice. The voices of the rest of our party seemed to be drawing closer, hearing them Harry turned and began to make his way further into the forest.**

The trip started like normal, everyone excited to see each other. We only really hang out once a year now, everyone spread across the country after college. We got to the cabin and everyone claimed a room, people starting to settle down.

“Knock knock.” Harry knocked on our door, huffing and puffing slightly after climbing the stairs. “Two brewskis for the man and his lady.” He laughed tossing a beer to me and Anna. “Get them down you and get downstairs we’ve got a new game to play!”

Eventually we made our way downstairs to find everyone around the table laughing, seemingly playing cards.

“Ryan, Anna gather round!” Liam said, but he had Amy’s voice? “Sorry.” He cleared his throat, “I mean come on guys deal in!” He said now with his own voice.

“Gah Amy I can’t believe you fucked it!” Amy’s body giggled, “They’d never have known if you didn’t screw up. We are playing swap poker, me and Amy have switched bodies.”

“What?” I asked shocked.

“Yeah man it’s crazy!” Liam’s body now laughed.

“Oh deal me the fuck in!” Anna cheered sitting down.

And so the game began. Before long everyone had started to shift around, it was all fun and games until Harry managed to finally win a hand…and he decided to take Anna’s body.

I started to protest but Anna squeezed my hand, “Relax babe it’s just a game. Bring it on fatso!” She teased before her head dropped back and the two switched places.

“Haha! Oh my god this is incredible!” Anna squealed or at least her body did.

The game continued for a bit longer, though I was no longer having fun. Harry was taking liberties in his borrowed body, as much as Anna tried to reassure me it was awful.

Until the game came to a swift end when Harry managed to sweep a drink and spill it all over the table, soaking the cards much to the dismay of everyone as most people were no longer in the correct body.

“Ooops!” Harry over exaggerated acting like Betty Bopp or something, “I better go dry myself, don’t wanna stain this wonderful dress!” He said before getting up and slipping away in all the commotion.

Everyone began to rapidly try and dry and salvage the cards, the underlying thought that if they didn’t they’d be stuck like this.

While they were trying to fix things I noticed Harry hadn’t returned and I quickly made my way to mine and Anna’s room. Finding the window flung open, and Harry no where to be seen.

My stomach dropped. I quickly ran downstairs and found Liam still in Amy’s body to tell him. I was going to go and look for him but to not tell Anna so she didn’t panic. With that I set out into the darkness.

It was dark, really dark and quite scary. But I had to find Harry, not least to swap everyone back but also to make sure he didn’t injury Anna’s body. It took a while but eventually I picked up the trail. Finding a scrap of Anna’s dress on a branch.

When I caught up to him the dress was in tatters, he was shivering and he looked scared. But even more scared when he saw me.

“Don’t hurt me! If you hurt me you’ll only be hurting her.” He shouted.

“I’m not gonna hurt you, you need to come back Harry. This is ridiculous. You are gonna give Anna hypothermia.” I shout back.

“So be it. It’ll be worth it.” He replies. “You seriously expect me to go back? I’m sorry dude but I’ve tasted this life and I can’t go back now.” Harry said with my girlfriend’s voice. The voices of the rest of our party seemed to be drawing closer, hearing them Harry turned and began to make his way further into the forest.
