Land or Glacier?

I am looking into getting a paradise for my birthday, but I’m stuck between Land and Glacier versions. The thing is, I know Glacier has the newer hardware, possibly better dial and newer games etc, but I also love Sebiretchi and wanted to have her. Glacier has some characters I like out of the two newer versions.
It isn’t possible to have the original land/sky/sea characters in the glacier device, right? I would need one of land/sky/sea for those characters and a glacier/tropics for those two plus jade forest?
