1 year devops experience, started applying mid July,100+ applications, 12 HR contacted me, 3 interviews got scheduled. Market is not bad, budget is the issue for me.

I keep seeing posts saying, "The DevOps market is dead," or "I've applied to 500 jobs and haven't received a single call."

I'm not saying the market is amazing, but I don't think it's dead either. From what I've seen, the bigger issue is budget, not a complete lack of hiring. A lot of companies are hiring, but they're looking for people within a very specific salary range.

If you're getting zero responses, it might be worth revisiting your resume, where you're applying, or how well your experience matches the roles.

Just sharing a different experience because I see a lot of doom and gloom here.

I'm currently preparing for CKA and building 2 solid side projects, I am planning to switch but I am not getting the expected CTC. Let's hope for the best
