Kiln Shelves vs Original - Heat Deflectors

Hey all

Looking to replace my cracked original heat deflectors in my BJ.

I can get pretty much exact half round sizes but they are thicker.

Does anyone have any experience or insight on the cooking experience as these kiln shelves are thicker at 20mm vs I think 16mm of original.
