room voice and display?

I'm looking to set up a propper voice control so i can replace google assistant and my google home speakers.

why? well i just dont feel like the google home speakers are usefull, basically the only "usefull" thing ive ever gotten out of them is "set a timer for x minuts" and "turn on light 1".

anything else it just fails. (and god forbid you'd name a device in anything other than english)

the google home display has such an awful dashboard i honestly rather go to another room and fetch my phone to start spotify than to use the google display right next to me.

so what are my options? right now i'm leaning towards simply putting up an android tablet on the wall for an actual usable display. and then something like the home assistant satelite preview. but is that satelite good enough? will i end up needing a cluster of things like satelite + speaker + tablet +... +... and then everything also needs a power source.

extra note: the idea is to have anything other than maybe direct control of specific light routed to hermes and let that handle the request.
