Aspiring Merchandiser/Buyer/Allocator

Hi there! I’m 29M who graduated first class majoring in Fashion communication 2 years ago Aug 2024. I’ve been working in a huge MNC brand as their back of house specialist since then. I feel that their pay does not reflects my worth and I really wanted to pursue a career in merchandising.

I was wandering if it’s sufficient to take an online course for merchandising that comes with an online certificate to land a job in the industry.

I couldn’t find any other ways to put my feet into the industry other than to up-skill myself.

For those who are currently reading this and currently working in merchandising/buying/allocation, care to share how was your journey like when you guys were a fresh grad and how to do you land your current job?
