Temperatures (ages 1 & 4)
Both my girls are at nursery, both keep having recurring temperatures off and on every few / couple of days or so. Our 1 year old more so than our 4 year old. It comes down with some calpol, keeping fluids up, eating as normal, all fine really but with the baby she has been having high temperatures (sometimes up to 38) every other day, the odd times she's been sick but calpol always brings it down. I assumed it was teething but she doesn't seem to have any poking through, she already has 6 and other than the odd bit of fussing they didn't bother her too much. She also doesn't seem too interested in her teethers or biting things, and no dribbling so I'm not sure it's her teeth.
I took her to the GP yesterday and they couldn't find anything but gave us a short course of antibiotics to see if that shifts the temperature issues. They did agree she was running quite warm, considering she was just in a vest and I'd had the air con on in the car.
Has anyone else experienced this?
For reference I am keeping her cool, light clothing, windows open for air in their room, house isn't overly warm or anything?
