Do I have lung damage or am I making it up in my head?
Ok, context required here. Started smoking occasionally in February this year and found myself becoming addicted to it, so switched over to vaping fairly rapidly, partly just from social pressures and because of health benefits. Was vaping semi consistently from may, then picked it up as a very common habit in June.
I know that this is not enough time to get any noticeable damage. However, in the past month I have used a vape which I am fairly confident in saying was spice (synthetic cannabis). Now I have done lots of research into the dangers of spice and E acatene in terms of EVALI and lung damage, but I only used the vape a few times in that month, and didn't take many hits when I did, due to its effects.
I've now recently noticed that I feel like I am unable to take deep breaths, but not sure how bad it is because I can't really compare to my breaths before, The main difference is that I find myself breathing through my mouth not my nose to try and get air, but when I do research this doesn't seem to be a sign of lung damage.
These symptoms started a week ago and haven't got any worse or better since, so unsure if it's EVALI, I have fairly sever OCD as well, and so it could be possible that constantly breathing through my mouth is a compulsive method of checking damage not an actual sign,
Have other noticed being unable to inhale enougj air through their nose, and if people had things such as Evalinor similar how long did onset time take?
