I think I was using Cursor the wrong way
For the first couple of weeks, I honestly didn't get the Cursor hype.
I'd open it, ask for a function, accept a few suggestions, and move on. It felt useful, but nothing game-changing.
Then I stopped treating it like autocomplete.
Now I usually explain what I'm building, where I'm stuck, or what I want to improve before asking it to write code. The responses are noticeably better, especially when I'm refactoring or trying to understand an unfamiliar part of a codebase.
It's still not something I'd trust blindly I review everything before committing but it's become one of those tools I keep open all day because it helps me stay in flow.
Does anyone else have that moment where the cursor just "clicked"?
Would love to hear what changed for you.
