What Are Some Resources You Might Recommend For Learning Sound Design?

Lately I've been interested more and more in sound design, the idea of creating a noise from scratch or turning one to another seems very impressive to me and I'd like to learn it a little myself. I'd really apreciate it if some of you could tell me about resources like playlists, long youtube videos, books (if there are any). Also would be very helpful if you recommended a DAW and some plugins, although I don't have much of a budget to speak of. Thanks in advance
