Looking for advice on my next bike – overwhelmed by all the brands 😅

WhichBike

Hey everyone,
I’m thinking about treating myself to a new bike next year and could really use some advice. I don’t know the current market all that well anymore, and with so many brands and build options out there, it’s getting a bit overwhelming.
Right now I’m riding a 2022 Canyon Torque CF8, and I’ve been really happy with it. Most of my riding is in bike parks like Leogang, Saalbach, and Winterberg, so the bike will mainly be used for downhill, jump lines, flow trails, and rough park laps. I don’t race, I just ride for fun.
I’m 194 cm (6’4”) tall, so I’d also appreciate recommendations for bikes that fit taller riders well.
My budget isn’t the biggest concern, but I’d prefer to stay under €10,000 if possible.
What brands and models would you recommend looking at? Are there any bikes that really stand out right now in terms of suspension, geometry, and overall ride quality? I’m open to pretty much anything—Santa Cruz, Specialized, Trek, Commencal, YT, Pivot, Forbidden, Transition, Propain… whatever you think is worth considering.
I’d also love to hear why you’d recommend a certain bike, especially if you’ve owned one or ridden several of them.
Thanks in advance!
