Maybe this is a long shot but I’m looking for lost earrings from my grandmother

They were round, oval-shaped stud earrings made out of scrimshaw, slightly off-white colored. Engraved on each was a sailing ship, they are antique. I haven’t been able to find them them for a while and keep thinking about them. They were the last thing I got from my grandmother when she passed. I worry that maybe they are lost, are with someone else, or even stolen. If anyone has any information or advice I’d appreciate it :)
