Whats the total time span in aoe 3 from units and building?

So now that we getting a new dlc with some more modern revolts whats the actual time period of the game since a imperial aztec wouldn’t even existed when revolutionary germany my guess is somewhere between 1500 to late 1800s 1880 ?
