QX70 steering Tilt issue

Greetings!

I own a 2014 qx70 and am having issues with the steering adjustment. Telescopic mechanism works fine, however the tilt makes a grinding noise and there is barely to no movement of the steering wheel. Has anyone fixed this issue and knows what needs to be done? I have looked at the Dorman 905-522 which is a gear and shaft kit for the motor, but their website says that this repair kit is not applicable for the qx70. Has anyone seen any similar repair kits? Please share your opinions and if you have successfully repaired this issue, explain the steps you took.
