Women who have told their partner about good sex they’ve had - what happened next?

I (34M) recently asked my girlfriend (31F) of 6 years what the best sex she’d ever had was as I don’t want something she enjoys to be walled off for my sake. She said that it was with a previous on-again off-again fling she had who was far larger than me, and that this was why she enjoyed being with him so much.

I really like hearing about her enjoying herself, so following that talk we’ve bought larger toys that replicate the sensation and she really likes them. I know that women are so often conditioned to never speak about their own pleasure, as doing so runs the risk of hurting a man’s ego, so I wanted to hear any first-hand accounts I could from those on the other side of questions like these.

For those who told your partner about good experiences and he couldn’t handle it. Did you regret being honest? Did you stop being open with him after that? How did it change your relationship?

Or those who told him and he embraced it. What did that feel like? Did it open a door to broader sexual honesty and better sex as a result? Did you start asking for things you’d never asked for before?

If you’ve wanted to tell him but held back. What stopped you? Was it that you thought he might not want the real answer? Do you wish you could tell him?

Or those who’ve never talked about positive experiences at all. Is it a feeling of relief or isolation that you haven’t? Is there something about a past experience that you’d share if you felt safe enough? What would feeling comfortable enough to tell him look like?

I’m really wanting to hear the other side on this, especially as women being open about good sex they’ve had is something that is too often kept locked away to save our male egos.

Tl;dr - women, what happened after you male partner learned about good sex you’ve had with another?
