can i go to a shop to get my hair dutch braided?

i’m a redhead and my hair type is mostly thick / coarse but also strands of fine / silky type mixed in, and my curls range across 2a-c with my hair not retaining moisture well

i’m going to a festival where previous years my hair has always gotten extremely dry / brittle and difficult to manage, i want my hair to be in dutch braids the whole 5days im there to keep it protected but i can’t do it myself and because of my hair being too soft my friend struggles to do it for me. when she does try, it gets loose pretty quick and i usually have to redo the main braid multiple times from large bits falling out before giving up & taking it out to shove it in a pony tail

my hair is pretty strong at the roots so im not worried about it being done too tight, i would just like dutch braids that will hold up during the festival so i dont have to struggle, plus it would be fun to have extra length to tie coloured embroidery string round. would that be possible with my hair type or would even a skilled braider struggle to keep it from falling out of place?
