Spiderman was good, but..
I watched spiderman yesterday and it was very good, but this post is about the movie watching experience rather than the movie itself. I hadn't been to theaters in Nepal for 5 years and I didn't realize how much had changed or I was too young/naive to notice it back then. I went to the QFX in Rising Mall and the number one most annoying thing by far was the crackling sounds from the plastic gloves. Idk if this is an everywhere thing now but it totally ruined the immersiveness that's exclusive to the big screen. I know it's not as bad as some of the other bad experiences I've read here like laughing during heavy emotional scenes, but the plastic ko karak kuruk is a constant noise and it doesn't stop until the person is done with their meal. I mean who even had this bright idea, it's not a restaurant folks, people go to the movies to WATCH THE MOVIE not have a full on meal, and the gloves just facilitate more food consumption which means more gloves which means more karak kuruk ughh. I mean the theatres rely on concessions to keep them running so ig it's not gonna stop anytime soon. It's just a part of the enshittification that's going around the world. Anyways, loved the new movie, have always loved spiderman, I give it a solid 8.3/10.
