Am I being underpaid as a remote worker?
I work 40 hours a week as an auditor, and everything finance related (employees salaries not included) in a company where 70+ people are employed.
They are also trying to make me responsible for the Fraud Department.
I earn 8.5 EUR per hour. This is technically a European company that has been around for less than 10 years. They also require me to speak Russian and English. I also had to figure out how to deal with Ukrainian paperwork.
What I don’t understand is they got rid of the CEO, who was also partially responsible for finance related matters and didn’t hire anybody else for the role.
They made me a team-lead and responsible for everything.
We only have 2 people at the finance department.
To be fair people earn 3 times as less as me where I’m from, that’s why the company specifically hires people from pooper countries.
